| Can there by any doubt that Terrorism, in all its forms, is the greatest problem facing us today? Not just the people of the United States, but of the whole world. For there is not a single major problem facing us today that can be solved with the resources presently at our disposal, that is not now made virtually impossible with the specter of terrorism and global war hanging over us all. Nor can there be any doubt that the best solution to this problem cannot conceivably be reached by discussions between us and our elected representatives because the best minds of our Western civilization have not produced even a plausible solution other than to kill the nuts on the other side before they kill us. Quite simply, this problem is a malignant cancer that has been festering for generations and is fed by such diseases as poverty, over-population, profound weather changes, religious mania, and the ruthless ambitions of powerful men. Truly, Whom the Gods would destroy, they first make mad. So why are we talking about it at all? What kind of hubris do we suffer from that we can imagine that anything we or you can say or do will make the slightest difference? Well, first we can try to understand and isolate the various historical and present forces that brought us to the brink of this abyss. Then we can try to minimize the passions and the rhetoric that deeply divide our own people and make solutions, even survival, much more difficult. So Fact Number One is that roughly 568 million human beings comprising what we call Western Civilization, which has been built up over the past 3000 years, has long been in collision with some 1.8 billion human beings comprising the Muslim World which grew out of the remnants of earlier civilizations and populate a belt around 1/3rd of the midriff of our globe and squats atop some 70 percent of the world's oil reserves, the primary non-renewable energy source of Western Civilization. This oil reserve is also about the only major resource available to the Muslim world to sustain its huge and growing population, and we are consuming it at a rate that is truly alarming from the point of view of both social orders. So the struggle isn't entirely ideological. It's basic dog-eat-dog survival. Now where do we fit into the statistical, geopolitical picture? The United States, Canada, and Western Europe -- the core of Western Civilization that is the most dependent upon Muslim oil -- have a total population of approximately 568 million, and, except in its dependency on oil, is far from united. The world's Muslim population -- the sector most vulnerable to (a) the depletion of its oil and (b) its ideological fanatics -- totals some 1.8 billion. They outnumber us by a ratio of 4 to 1, which means they can breed four times as fast as we can, which means we must either kill them at a ratio of 4 to 1 just to stay even, or face extinction, or resolve the problem some other way. Christian statisticians fix their world population at 2.1 billion people, but this number is misleading for use in a geopolitical analysis because the major part of this population is not politically relevant, residing in notoriously impoverished parts of the the globe and not vitally dependent on Muslim oil. So the geopolitical struggle is between a Western Civilization of 568 million oil burners and an increasingly aggressive population of some 1.8 billion Muslim oil owners. While the rest of the world -- some 4 billion in all of many races and nationalities with massive population-related problems of their own -- watch with growing alarm. So how is it all going to play out, folks? Where do we start? Or do we just sit back and let Nature take her course? Perhaps we had best stop looking at ourselves as especially favored creatures, created in God's image and, somehow or other, immune to the iron laws of our universe, which also presumably were created by God? And one of those immutable laws is that animal populations which exceed their boundaries of space and food supply become plagues, diseases that periodically arise, consume themselves, and then subside to either repeat the process or become extinct. On this latter point, if you care about the effect human beings are having on our global environment, take a look at the Angriest Prophet story our roving reporter, Yuri Thersites, just posted. It may change the way you look at your little egocentric world. * * * WHAT IS A TERRORIST? WHAT IS AN ATROCITY? Some folks -- they call themselves Liberals -- say that one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter, and think dog-piling and putting women's panties on the heads of naked Muslims are atrocities. Just a matter of seman-tics, like "It all depends upon what you mean by 'is'." Well, some other folks who think it's something more than a play on words, circulated the following e-mail to illustrate that the difference may be much deeper than that. Sometimes it depends upon who the enemy is. Whatever, let us know whether you like this kind of thing -- one way or the other. God only knows how many computers it passed through before reaching us. | | | | | A Message from the Ghost of General Patton.... ATTENTION!
To those whining, panty-waisted, pathetic Maggots, it's time for a little refresher course on exactly why we Americans occasionally have to fight wars. /No. 2. Patton head.bmp See if you can tear yourself away from your "reality" TV and Starbucks for a minute, pull your head out of your flabby ass -- and LISTEN UP!!
Abu Ghraib is not "torture" or an "atrocity". This is the kind of thing frat boys, sorority girls, and academy cadets do to new-comers. A little fun at someone else's expense. Certainly no reason to wring your hands or get your panties in a wad./No. 4. Patton looking up.bmp

WHICH PART DON'T YOU GET?/No. 9. Patton dockside.bmp Islam a peaceful religion??? Millions of these sons-of-bitches are plotting as we speak to destroy our country and our way of life any way they can. Some of them are here among us now.
They don't want to convert you and don't want to rule you. You are a vile infestation of Allah's paradise. They don't give a shit how “pro-gressive" you are, how peace-loving you are, or how much you sym-pathize with their cause.
They want you dead, and think it is God's will for them to do it. And you think Bush and Cheney are your worst enemies?/No. 10. Patton helmet.bmp
Some of you think if we give them a hug or listen to them, then they'll like us... and if you agree? Then you are a dumb ass!
If they manage to get their hands on a nuke, chemical agents, or even some anthrax -- you will wish to God we had hunted them down and killed THEM while we had the chance.
Stop bitchin' about your damn Health Care, Social Security, Gas prices, and your measly 3.25% unemployment rate...and start worrying about you, your family's, and your friends' asses.
How many more Americans must be beheaded before you stop blaming Bush for all your troubles -- You've fallen asleep AGAIN, maggots! And you may not get another chance!
NOW GET OFF YOUR SORRY ASS - and pass this on to any and every person you give-a-damn about.. if you ever gave a damn about anything./No. 11. Patton full glory.bmp
DISMISSED* * * News Flash, June 8, 2006, Zarqawi is killed by US F-16 bomb attack. See story on New Horizons. But first, some more pictures of this insane monster. Zarqawi 2004.jpg Zarqawi - al Jazeera.jpg Zarqawi - Al Jazeera a.jpg
Zarqawi end rubble.jpg
Finally, even his own people had enough of the monster and ratted him out. Al Jazeera, barely noticing this signal event, reported the circumstances of Zarqawi's passing in a brief, but surprisingly objective story -- at least the one that was published for Western consumption. We must presume that Al Jazeera's Muslim viewers were provided a more elegant description of Zarqawi's glorious ascension to Paradise and his assigned bevy of nubile virgins. The New York Times referred to the monster as "Mr. Zarqawi," which, of course, was neither his true name nor customary title, but, we must suppose, was done so out of respect for the recently departed and the fune-real atmosphere of The Times. Beyond a shadow of doubt, these purveyors of "all the news that's fit to print," found little to interest them in this eminently newsworthy event. However, The Times did find occasion to depart from its subdued recounting of this signal event by noting that "American military commanders" had claimed that Zarqawi had beheaded certain unnamed victims, com-pletely ignoring the fact that the monster had carefully filmed his several decapitations in excruciating detail and then sent the film to be released on television. But neither the Times nor any other American news service saw fit to publish these gruesome images, leaving it to bloggers and Michael Savage to do so. God forbid that the Liberal press would ever show us the true faces of our enemies, or even name them. The Washington Post was somewhat more expansive, publishing an obituary which recounted Zarqawi's feats -- while assuring us that his murderous associates were almost entirely native Iraqis even though their leader was born a Jordanian. Neither Time nor Post thought it relevant to report that the government of Jordan had immediately announced that it would not allow Zarqawi's corpse to enter Jordan for burial, although the Post did report that he was a member of a Bedouin tribe, as if that disposed of the matter. And so we are left to wonder just what will be done with this sadistic murderer's mortal remains. The Washingon Post did briefly remind us about some of the victims of Zarqawi's mad fury by reporting -- "In May 2004, he personally inaugurated a wave of hostage-takings and beheadings in Iraq by decapitating Nicholas Berg, 26, a businessman from Pennsylvania, and posting the videotaped episode on the Internet. Later, he and his followers circulated videos showing the decapitations of two other Americans, Eugene "Jack" Armstrong, 52, a native of Hillsdale, Mich., and Jack Hensley, 48, of Marietta, Ga." But The Post doesn't offer a breath of condemnation of such brutality, and certainly no photographs of his victims. And so Zarkawi's admirers sent him off to Paradise and, we trust, his 27 virgins promised by Allah. Home is the hunter, home from the hill. The Post even gave us the following heroic picture of Zarqawi, suitably presented against a celestial background. (Although I'm damned if I know what that contraption is on his left arm.)
